changing springs??

OK i know this doesnt have to do with a f-body, but my friend and i are about to change his springs on his 2001 mustang gt. he ordered a 1 1/2 inch drop springs from ford racing (i think) anyways, i was wondering if we needed a spring compresion tool to put these on? I know if changing springs in a f-body you need one, but what about a mustang? thanks

I would think so. But you've probably already figured that out. Hopefully you didn't get hit in the head.
