Just curious. Is it worth swithcing out the plugs for NGK TR-55's? Can you really notice the difference or have you had some problems? Thanks for the response!

The only plugs i have had problems with were the bosche platinum +4 or whatever they are. They sucked and i went back to the stock plugs cause after a week the car started backfiring and hesitating real bad. I had two sets of them. The wires were bad too. I recomend nobody use these ever.

Can't go wrong with NGK's.

They're all I've ran in all of my f-bodies.

The NGK's are great. Never use platinum plugs.. they are too hot.

Are the LS1 Fbody plugs the same as LS1 Vette plugs? I should change mine when I get home next week.

Yeah, the Vette and F-body plugs are the same.

Blaze, I doubt you'll notice any difference by switching to NGKs (or any other plug) unless you have quite a few miles on the plugs that are in there now (factory I assume). If you are going to change plugs though, NGKs are the way to go, IMO.

I just had AC Delco Rapid Fires put in mine. At least I think that is what they are called. I have 51,000 on my LS1 and I could tell a small difference in throttle response. But I also put on Taylor plug wires as well.
