Post Cartek: anyone running their engines?

I know their reputation well through several friends and local acquaintences with Y and F bodies.

But what I am wondering is, what is the strongest engine they build NA that will pass the sniffer? What's it rated at? I'd ask them, but its kind of a silly question to waste their time with.

I am looking ahead to next year and the possibility of a new coupe instead of a ZO6 because I just can't give up my open air driving. I figure I'll drive the car for 10k and then mod it. If it can make it past the first 10k then it will already be WORLDS safer than my current LEMON. And given the track record of the kind of warranty service I have received........voiding the warranty will not bother me too much.

So I'm thinking of a forged 346 with a good top end and a decent shot to make it a real predator.

But until I handle the current car's problems and get rid of it, this is all wishful thinking.
