have heard of it but it involves swapping a whole lot of stuff.. basically ripping out the PCM and any wires/components that go with

not sure of what gains you get out of it?? think people do it for more of a fun project than any other reason

Mechanically, there isn't much to do. I came across a manifold that makes the swap easy (just change out the intake manifold and put a carb on top)

The electrical stuff would be fun.. You could completely strip the car, wire up your own gauges and it would be one hell of a sleeper. I'd love to do it, just for something to do.

Shreve screws up lots of cars. I hope that isn't where you brought it.

Why don't you take it to Futral or Thunder Racing and have them sort it out?

I'm sure you'll need another hood for a carb setup.

thunder wont touch it, but they sent me to a dif shop. they seem to be going at it pretty good. fixed a few things they saw that were messed up, but still not starting (fires, but dies immediatly after) im just crossing my fingures and hoping it comes out alright.. if not... no idea.. have waaaaaay too much money into this thing to give up on it. just dunno what to do if this shop cant get it going (but i have faith )

Fires, but then quits?? Almost sounds like a VATS problem!
