Car died on me today

The car is in the sig and it has 22K miles on it. I had just left my house and was rounding a corner when I nailed it...the car fell on its face and sputtered twice and then died. I let it roll to a stop on the side of the road. The check engine light was on. When it stopped I put it in park and turned the key and it fired right up. The SES light was off, it made no funny noises and their seemed to be no loss in power . Any ideas?

Question Low on fuel ?

Maybe it temporarily drew a vaccuum in the fuel line ?

Weird.

Anybody you know/have access to for free have Autotap ? Even with no trouble light showing, any glitches are stored in the PCM.

My .02 - if it was even worth that much !

Good Luck !

Might want to double check your intake boot after the MAF. Just in case.

How much gas was in the tank. If you were anywhere near a quarter of a tank, you said you nailed around a corner, you may have starved the engine of gas. I had this happen to me when i had almost no gas and hard to brake hard going up a hill. The computer picked up a backfire and the ses light came on. As long as the light went out, no need to worry.
