Can I save my battery after the green dot dies?

Can I save my battery after the green dot dies?

...the car has been sitting for a while....and now the battery won't hold a charge...is it toast or can it be saved...this battery is near new still...thanks

Probably not. While the dot only shows the condition of one of the cells in the battery, having one gone is usually enough.

If it wont hold a charge anymore, its time is up.

I didn't realize the battery was a warrenty, the green dot is gone on mine too, and has been gone since i bought the car.
