cam questions

cam questions

i wanna get a good sized cam that will give me some gains and sounds good at idle. what do you guys recommend? i already had a lid, LTs, chip, suspension work, and a pushrod and rocker arm package. i would like for somone to post a link or something so i can check it out. or just tell me the specs and brand of the cam. thanks guys

What are you setting up your car for drag/ax/rr? I really like the TSP 231/237.

well its a daily driver, but i also plan on running at the track. i dont want a ridiculously aggressive cam but i do want something that is gonna give me a good difference and also not extremely expensive.

With my Comp cam 224/224 .581/581 112LSA I went from 332rwhp to 394rwhp. This is not the TR224 people talk about. I believe that one only has .563 lift.

We have several camshaft on special right now including the 231.237 & Torquer camshafts for $310!!!

I would second his suggestion on the torquer cam if you are looking for GREAT numbers and still driveable, just remember that tuning is a must, there have been some dyno graphs posted one showed 418 rwhp 389 tq, and the other showed 417 rwhp and 400(or somethin) tq, both claims were on stock heads i guess. Also from ls1tech i have heard this cam is very drivable.
