Cam info

Does anybody know where to get good info on choosing a cam on the web?
I came across one site that explained everything real well but dont remember where it was. Im looking for a good streetable cam for a daily driver during the warm months.

www.ls1howto.com has a real good write up on picking out a cam. I used it to pick mine alnog with some research on the boards. Mine ildes real well for a daily driver but I want to go bigger goold luck on picking oneif you need any more help or have any mre questions I went through the whole thing so go ahead and ask.

That was it!!!
I was looking at an LS6 cam but that looks pretty mild. Ive heard good things about them though. what do you guys think. anybody have one?
what kind of HP did you get with it? How drivable is it? What do you all think?

The advantage of the LS6 cam is that it is a nice upgrade and can be had very cheap. I had one shop offer me one out of a Z06 that they pulled with 1500 miles on it. They were gonna give me the cam and I would just pay labor. Not a bad deal, but for all the trouble and the fact that Cams aren't that pricey (it's the labor that's pricey) I think you could go quite a bit more aggressive than an LS6 cam and have plenty of streetability with much better performance.
