I think the front looks terrible (reminds me of a Jag's too) I like the rear bumper of the car alot, I'd buy it if it were available. I'm not a fan of the slits in the front and the rear by the wheels either...

Damn yo, I guess "dj haf" is just a sheep like all dem otha busta's out there. Never seen a 1st gen Camaro with a rat motor before.

I don't really care for the front end much either (reminds me of an adolescent with braces), but it will definitely be a rare car when you're done with it. What are your plans for it anyway? You trying to get in a mag, or is it just a weekend cruiser?

Edit: Oh yeah, this is all JMO.

The bumper does hold a certain appeal, almost makes me think "Vette," but I can't stand fake ducting, didn't like it on the 69 Camaro either. Make it functional and usefull or take it off.

**The vents behind the front & rear wheels are funcional
**The car when finished will be a weekend cruiser
**Two Mags will be doing stories when finished
*****The motor going in has been finalized-It will be the 7L/427ci CR5R configuraton which just did 550hp/525tq on the dyno. This engine is a stump puller with 500 lb/ft starting @ 3000RPM & builds to 525lb/ft all the way to 6500RPM AND is 50 state legal. +++Stay tuned for more+++

Thumbs up

Man, I love your car... I think you have done it all right with this one. I have always been a fan of the C8 body style. I think that the first series was definitely more menacing looking but that doesn't matter when you have an 427 under the hood
If I had my drothers I'd have gone with a metallic blue similar to the C12 but thats just me. I have to say great job. Oh, btw. I had a turbo on my car and with subframes and a 6 point rollbar i never had a problem with chassis flex. You could tie in a 6 point underneath that faux bar and make it look SCHWEET. It would be top class like everything else you are doing here.
Good luck and shoot me some pics etc.. when you get it completed.
Later,
STEW
