Cabin noise is driving me crazy!

It seems that everything in the ls1 cabin squeaks, bumps, rattles, or makes some other irritating noise. I swear that if I can't get rid of these noises, I'm going to trade it in for a new cobra. Anyone have any tips on what these noises could be and how to get rid of them?

I'm with you man, the interior noise is the only complaint I have about my ws6. I've noticed that the passenger seatbelt makes noise as it bangs against the seat. Also, the whole passenger seat just seems to vibrate as the car gets into higher speeds. I haven’t really figured out any decent fixes, other than taking out the passenger seat and seatbelt.
I hope someone has some good advice ... I'm going def turning up the stereo loud enough to not hear all the other crap.

Do you have T-tops? I ask because the body flexes more on these than the hardtop, leading to nterior "squeaks". I had the squeak problem on my 97 LT1. I installed KBDDSFC's at 50,000 miles and it got rid of at least 90% of the squeaks, rattles, etc. It was still rattle free when I sold it at 78,000 miles.

A set of subframes is cheaper than a new Cobra......

I had BMR weld in SFCs put in, and it got rid of maybe, 50% of the cabin noise ... but not quite enough to turn my frown upside down.

I've got plenty of interior noises but the way I look at it is, I bought a sports car, not a cadilac.

I don't really notice that many squeaks and rattles in my car. Do you all have t-tops?

I have T-tops and tubular SFCs in a 2000 SS w/ 38K miles. No squeaks.

The 03 Cobra is still new. With all the torque its putting down, it'll rattle too. Just give it time.

F-body is no Vette or 03 Cobra. :blah:

Yeah, I have a few squeaks and rattles, too, but I don't let them bother me as much as they obviously bother you.

So, off to Ford dealer you, then. Buh-bye!
