Which do you guys perfer (webite also please for best prices)... i have been looking at the GM 4.10 gears for $199.95... I am going to have my dad's chevy dealership install them...
Will they have the neccesary programmer... also... how long of an install will this take?

Steven

Motive, Strange, Richmond make gears. GM gears are fine too. I don't know a whole lot about which one is better etc though.
Install should take a couple hours.
You will need to get your car programmed somewhere for the new gears. Since you're getting it done, or could get it done, at your dad's place, they can easily change the programming. Hopefully you can get hooked up on a good price to install them there too.

i work for a chevy dealer, i recently performed a 4.10 swap on an 02' and we used gears from slp bought with the dealer discount and sent the computer to ed wright. gm offers no programing for the 4.10.
