Well good for the M6's getting 28mpg or better Never said that they wouldn't Just letting everyone know what my car got. Here's your proof that auto's are faster:Show me one M6 owner that will get a 2.0 60' or lower bone stock on street tires. The only people who will do that are experienced dragsters, not your average 4-5 track runs a year people. Now take any soccer mom out of her grocery getter and let her hit the track for 1 night.I promise that by the end of the night she will be hitting 2.0 60's in a good car.Heck,I'm a bad driver and I hit 2.0's my first night after 3 runs. And if you get off the line quicker, guess what? You get to the end of the track quicker. It's not a question of which one is better but which one is easier to drive. Peace my brother and think before you speak next time

Nikkev, I only brought that up because you said autos were faster. Now what you're talking about comes down to the driver. And you are 100% right when you say autos are easier to drive, I can't disagree with that at all.

I liked your joke too, was pretty good, and quite true. Sorry, I didn't mean to start anything, it's just that lately a lot of people are coming on here rambling about this and that and they don't have a clue.

I would say M6 and maybe stay away from the A4 ,because of so many people having problems with the 3-4 clutch packs and the bands.I have a 2002 Z 28 that has almost 14 K and at 10k I had to take it in for warranty work and now at 14 k I am going to have to take it in to them again cause it's still not right. They also put to much tranny fluid in and I think that it is causing some of the problems.

robvas hit it right on the head.

Either combo will be fun.. Personally, I like the action of rowing thrut he gears myself, even if it causes me to be more inconsistant and potentially slower at a drag race... but there nothing like the feeling of a smoothly executed downshift while braking, before you enter a turn, and slingshotting out in the sweet spot of the rpm's.

I have a 99, so I don't know about the other year hydralics, but the clutch pedal is light compared to any other car I've driven.

Yeah,I was having a bad day at work and sometimes I don't make myself clear! Sorry about that! Here's to F-body guys getting along! I just like to rag M6 owners because I out-run 'em at the strip.

Yeah, I hate having to make excuses like "I had you if I didn't miss!" Oh well, I got an auto and a M6.

stik6shift98: I'm actually about 20 minutes north of clearwater beach in a nice little town. Palm Harbor, if you want to know. I just say Clearwater because some people actually know where that is.

Okay, look. You've already posted 5 god damn times in this thread. You've really contributed nothing.

You, stikshift98, stikshift93, and however many other stikshifts there are....are the biggest post ****** on this board. Every time I enter a forum, what do I see ? Stikshift something or another having the last post on EVERY THREAD. You post in EVERY THREAD. Why?!

"Don't let it bother you"

I just hate sifting through "yeah tht sounds good" every 3rd post when I'm trying to get some information.

its best to not try and even bother getting him back on this one he owned you sofa king bad!
it will probobly result in some personal attack which is just plain dumb, he will say something back and you will be 3x
once from this post, once for trying to get him back and failing and once for his comeback.

This is why God made cliffs
