My car is pretty new, it's a 2000 and it had 18,000 on the clock when I bought it. I get an oil change and a month later the low oil light is on, and it's not leaking. What's the deal with these LS1s burning oil? I love this car but the oil problem just pisses me off. I've had the car for over a year and it has 28k on it now.

 

How low it is? Did you change the oil yourself?
