bump-stop mod help!!

I performed the bomp-stop mod, and realised that when I pressed the gas all the way to the floor (with the car off) the throttle did not hit the bump-stop, but fell a bit short.. how can I adjust the tentioners so that when I press it to the floor it touches the bump-stop and when i let off the gas it fully closes...??? I seem to be able to adjust the for one or the other, but can't seem to get both to operate properly.. either WOT hits the bump stop, but when I let off the gas it doesnt close all the way, and idles at around 1600 because of this, or I can get it so when off the gas-pedal it idles fine/closes all the way, but when I stop on it, the throttle does not reach the bump stop... if anyone knows how to set these properly, let me know.. do I have to be setting these with the car running or something?? thanks!

Adjust cable running from the pedal to the TB for the stop, and the other one for the release to idle. It's the ASR control, I believe.

Question

OK, What's a "bump stop" mod and where do I get the instructions on how to do it for my new '02 Z28?

I'm not too certain if I'm reading your email right, but you may have ground too much off. What are your WOT voltage readings?

Here you go.
http://ls1.com/TBA.htm and http://www.installuniversity.com/
I just nicked off a little insulation off the wires back a couple of inches from the TPS then taped them up when done. The black one is ground, just get that off the battery or frame. I think the blue one was the 5 volt feed to it. Supposed to give you full fuel to the engine at 4.6 volts. 4.7 volts will set a SES code. So not too far. Later>>>>>>>

You remove a little metal and adjust the cables so that your butterly will open closer to a 90degree angle. too far and you have problems.. most people just get it real close and are happy with that.. its one of those simple and maybe effective mods.
