brakes

sup everyone,

When i press on the brakes they squeek. Not all of the time but most. It doesn't happen when I turn or anything..

anyone know what it could be?? maybe dirt or dust?

I think most have that problem. I look at the wheels and notice a considerable amount of brake dust. I am going to be investing in some carbon fiber pads, maybe reduce squeak as well. For some reason tho, I find it really embarassing to have the brakes squeak at all when I pull up to a light. I dunno, just my thoughts.

It's embaressing because that shouldn't be comming from cars like ours. The tire shop said it is probably the brake pad material, so I think getting different pads would be the right thing to do.

put new ceramic pads and new rotors on mine and they still squeak

Use some guide pin lube on the back of the pads.

Lube the guide pins while you are in there so the wheels will turn freely.
