Let me know how everything goes, I have been thinking about getting the dry kit from NOS. Mainly because it would be way easy to hide compared to a wet kit or a plate kit. Good luck.

Good luck, you'll need it. My buddy just finished replacing his motor for $6000 because he blew it up after using a 100 shot NO2 kit for about 5 months. Since your not under warranty any more, start saving.

I've been using my 5177 kit now for over a year and have no problems to report. I don't really use it that much though. I've filled the bottle maybe 8-9 times in this year.
Make SURE everything is right and then go enjoy it.

Run a step cooler plug, keep a close read on your plugs and dont go over 125 dry shot and your car will be fine.I have sprayed every vehicle I have ever owned and never had a problem.

it couldn't be the fact the engine was never designed for that much abuse.

-Use too high of a shot (150 should be fine on a LS1,I used a 100 shot on my old 3.4 V6)
-Lean out too much or lose fuel pressure. This is also known as detonation.(That's one reason why I prefer a wet shot. You can never have too much fuel when it comes to being safe with nitrous!)
-Using nitrous on a worn or already broken motor.

I have had the 100 shot on my car for 2 years now and haven't had any problems. There are two safeties built into the system. 1st, there is a throttle switch, you have to be at wide open throttle for the system to activate. 2nd, you have a fuel pressure switch. If the system doesn't sense fuel pressure, no nitrous. You wont have any problems with it as long as you hook it up properly.

Nitrous is totally safe if used properly. Use a cooler, COPPER spark plug (I use TR-6s), and use a little octane boost to help prevent detonation and you'll be fine. I have the TNT wet kit and love it. A window switch, bottle heater, and FPSS are all good ideas, but not absolutely necessary.
