Bought my new cam!!!!

Its and MTI T1 cam .558/.558 on a 112lsa, now all I need to get are hardened push rods and some 918 springs and I'm in business! Anybody else have any sound clips or any info on this cam other than what I have? People have said with full bolt on's it has the potential for 400-420rwhp....probably closer to 400rwhp and that its a good cam for us automatic guys!

Cars with the same cam make around 400 with just bolt ons. Good choice, hurry up and put it in. it will sound great.

You will like this cam. I have the same cam in my car. It lopes decent and you can feel it in the car at idle. It pulls hard from low and in the midrange.

Torque:
-Before the cam the car made 315 tq at 3500rpm and
328 tq at 4400 rpm tappering off to 280 tq at 5800rpm
-after the swap it made 350 tq. at 3500rpm
and 355 lb.tq at 4800rpm tappering off to 308 tq at 6000 rpm

Horsepower:
Before cam car made 210 hp at 3500rpm and 318hp at 5400rpm
-after swap 230 hp at 3500rpm and 348hp at 5800rpm

You will definately need idle raised for this cam.
Enjoy it. Good decent power and easy on the valvetrain.

What other mods did you have when you got those numbers? I have heard more than one person say that with all bolt on's (including headers and such) that this cam canbe up around 400rwhp. With a cam headers should give you about 20-25hp so if you had headers when you got those numbers I am a little worried!

I don't have all the bolt ons, I have:
LT Headers - ORYPipe - Cam - Lid - 160 thermo - 17"Wheels
Stock CatBack w/muffler - Stock Pullies - Stock TB & it is a 1998 A4

Those #s were on a unlocked converter that I think was going south at the time.

The car is also not fully tuned either. With my new Tqverter it has trapped @ 111 mph in quarter.

I still think it is a good cam and for the price you got it for I would'nt worry about it too much.
