What is the bone stock 1/4 mph on a stock LS1 car full weight Z28? On a M6 car?

Faster than that. Best times ever recorded were around a 12.8, weren't they?

I'd say the average once you get the hang of it should be between 13.0 and 13.5 @ anywhere between 103-107. There's too many variables to narrow it down much.

No there won't...

Seriously though, as with any race, driver has a lot to do with it. The question is, how fast can you drive it?

Sig. If i could get that 60' below 2.1 I should be able to see low 13's... and I am basically stock (it ran faster with the OEM airbox than with the lid)

Oh and raceweight... 3663 lbs.

Aftermarket lid are nnatorious for not saling.. i'll assume you used a K&N.. use 2 gaskets

even if you don't use K&N..
call them and say you have one and it doesn't seal.. make up some bull as you tried to make it seal.. and they'll send you 2..

i did..

Use the Cigarette test to be sure.. put cardborad over the puly area..and they manually blip the throttle.. if their is a gp cigarettesmoke will enter..

an old trick.. the older drivers know this one.. ..or i hope so..

i find it hard to believe the factory box is not way more restrictive..

Wowo stock let me think back

Never tested it stock.. had a lid and a cutout.. also had the BG ram air mod.. its kind a funnel that seal up real well to the lid.. pita to install for me

but Brian Green swears by them.. he guarateed me.. at least.2 and 2 mph.. i will never know..

i read on here you can seal it without the BG mod..and i spoke to Brian..and he told me in honesty he sells aout 40-50 a year cause te homade seal works almost as good.. for about 225 dollars less

so i i guess the ram Air hood looks good and can function with some manipulation

but i ran in automatic.. oh i had 3.73 too

a 12.82 at 107..
i was happy..

i reversed figure a 13.28 13.3

When I was completely stock, I was running 13.6 @ 105 mph....but then again, that was during the Summer in Florida. 90 degrees + all the humidity you could even imagine doesn't really treat these engines too well.

Me too. Car has more SOTP, but doesnt produce the numbers... Might say it was a freak run with the factory airbox, but I ran a 13.47, 13.49 and a 13.50 back to back... all at 106+/- .5 mph.

Best with the lid... 13.60 @ 105.5. Of course there are so many other factors... but still ... Im looking at the MPH... not there by almost 1.5. I then tried to pull it off completely... after all, the tracks clean and many cars run open carbs there... ran even slower with no airbox. WTF?

my best stock run in my new 00 Trans Am A4 w/ 3:23's was a 13.600 @ 101.94 on a 2.052 60'

now with my lid and Bellow I pulled a 13.51 @ 103 on a 2.1 60'
