Bolt Size for Alternator Cable?

Anyone know? I can barely reach it from ontop the car, it looks like it has to be gotten from the bottom for clearance purposes... I'm going to lift the car tomorrow to reach it but I need to know if I have the correct sockets / wrenches before purchasing a floorjack...

Darn I can't remember for sure but I think that it takes a 10mm wrench.

^ should be 10mm. Most are. and yeah, ALT work most of the time has to be done from underneath.

Turns out to be a 14mm nut on mine...

Now another question, where exactly does the ground cable go? It appears to follow the positive starter cable for quite awhile before splitting off right below the exhaust manifold...
