BMR or Kenny Brown SFC?

BMRs are $159 and KBs Double Diamonds are $239. Is the superior strength of the double diamonds worth the extra cost, or will the BMRs be just fine. I'm really on a budget, but I don't want to regret geting the BMRs if KBs are that much stronger/better.

Wink

Kenny Browns are better especially if you auto-x or road race. I love mine. If you're on a really tight budget you'll be fine with BMR. Just get some!

I have seen both. The BMR ones have the advantage of being cheaper and thicker but the Kenny Brown ones have the diamond design but use thinner bars. The SLP subframe connectors are the best of both worlds but I think retail for around $300 . I couldn't imagine the diamond design improving the ride anymore than the standard design. For my money I run the standard design subframe connectors.

FYI, I heard the KB weigh a lot and are too much of an overkill for the everyday street car w/a few racing here and there..

Also, check out this BMR GP at

20% savings off the $159 you might spend..

KBDD's weigh 32lbs, slp's weigh 40lbs, & BMR's weigh 20-25lbs depending on the type.

I'll help reiterate yor decision.

BMR. My entire suspension on my Formula, and previous on my 94Z was all BMR. There's a reason for that
