bleeding ls1 coolant system
there are no bleed screws like on the LT1 correct?
just bring it up to temp a few times and top off the fluid?
installed a mez EWP this weekend. doesn't seem to overheat so i think i got the air out.
just looking for a quick confirmation.

Easiest way is to loosen one of the cylinder head coolant crossovers while you fill at the radiator, like a bleeder. Keep adding until coolant pours out from the crossover, then retorque. Top off coolant in radiator and overflow and you're done!

well sofar i've just done the "warm up...cool down...top off" schedule.
so far i've done it 3 times and the temp has never gone high. granted its the crappy iddiot light guage in the 99+ cars.
but still.
and since it's and EWP i can just turn the ign on and cycle it.
sofar so good...stays cool and the car seems a bit more peppy after freeing up the engine of the pump drag.
not that you can truely feel ~10hp
but the drop in drag seems to make the engine spin faster in neutral
