1. wisper
2. MTI

most all lid dyno about the same but wisper and MTI dyno a few more HP i think (like 1-2ish) but they also cost alot more. a wisper lid from TS cost like $130-140 and an slp lid is only like $90 i think.

I think he's inquiring about induction kits, not lids. The ARA formerly known as the Super Sucker(SSRA) gives gains of 13rwhp over stock and does have cooling issues since it angles away from the radiator. It also seals the best.

ALL lid are about the same,so get the one you like.Since you have a ws6,I would get the Brian Green ram air kit.It actually makes your hoond functional.

On a WS-6 it would be BGRA+Lid of your choosing (I like my TSP)

On all others it would be ARA ( formerly SSRA) + lid

I think he's asking about lids and just worded his subject wrong. Any how lids are all the same. The only real difference to my knowledge is some fit better then others and last longer. My vote goes for TSP lids. They tend to fit very well since they pre-fit all lids before they ship.

I havn't had a problem with mine fitting or cracking so I would recommend TSP. And they got some real sweet looking carbon fibre lids as well as clear lids.

Good Luck

any lid will work, then since you have a ws6 just take out the rain deflectors in your hood by drilling out the lil pop rivets that are holding em in. the one closest to the front will be a PITA since it has glue on it but you will be able to get it out with some work.

then find some way to close it off so only the cold outside air can get into the box

PM me and i'll give further directions if you need em

cai

thanks for your help guys i think i am gonna order the slp "flowpac" kit from LS1 speed, it includes lid, K&N filter, SLP smooth bellow, and SLP's cold air induction, but do you think it would be better to go with the super sucker cai rather than the SLP.

please respond thanks again!

WS6

ya your right, i sure as hell don't want to spend 295.00 for the flowpac kit. So how do i use my hood, and will this give me more HP than all this SLP stuff?
