belt squeak

belt squeak

Ok i have a pritty annoying belt squeak and seems to be when car gets warmed up. I replaced the idler pully and it seemed to quite it down alittle but its still there for some reason. I have a 98 SS anybody have a problem like that? Or any help you can give me to try and do?

Try using some belt dressing. If you haven't already replaced the belt when you replaced the idler puller, then replace the belt. It seems that you might be getting a little slip somewhere.

Ya i didnt replace the belt it look good so i didnt bother ill go replace the belt and see what happens

If that is the original belt for the '98, then it would be a good idea to replace the joker....
