Bbk Ls1 Intake Manifold?

Has anyone seen or used this manifold? it says it flows better then the Z06 manifold? I've been looking into getting an ls6 intake and ran across this.

Scroll down a little

Re: Bbk Ls1 Intake Manifold?

I know it is just minor technicality but it's LS6 intake.

The FAST intake was suppose to make lot more hp than LS6 intake, but it has been proven that the manufacturer claim was way off and I feel that end result with BBK intake will be similar to FAST LSX intake, imo.

Not worth paying $650 to $700 until independent tests are done to support BBK's claim. Even then I'll stick with LS6 intake. It may be worth to those with major power adders to sqeeze out every ounce of hp.

The Holley/Weiand/Lingenfelter intake was supposed to be better than the LS6, but wasn't. FAST intakes don't do much until you're running big heads and cam.

I agree, the price is too high. If I was inclined to pay that much I'd wait until someone makes a TB that'll make the LS2 intake work for us. I prefer to cooler running ABS.

Dyno test of various intakes and very good analysis of each intake manifold.

LS6, LS2, and FAST intakes on an LS1 motor

LS2 and LS6 intakes on an LS2 motor

I realize BBK intake wasn't tested, but for the money, I'd stick with LS6 intake.

Its aluminum so I wouldn't waste my money on it. They just like heat so much more than the LS6 composite or even our stock one.
