automatic lights
Is there a special name for the feature that turns your lights off and on automatically based on light level? Basically, did the brochures have a certain term for it?

I found this in the truck literature:
Is it safe to assume that they call this feature the same thing on all vehicles?
Silverado is also equipped with Automatic Exterior Lamp Control, which senses the amount of daylight and automatically engages your headlamps as it becomes dusk.

I guess you could just call them "automatic headlights" or "Automatic Exterior Lamp Control", but whatever you wanna call them, do you like having them??
I *personally* didn't like the feature, and disabled them within the first couple weeks of having my car
. I don't like that at night time you don't have an option of turning your lights OFF during those times when you simply want the lights OFF. IMO, why have a switch if it's useless anyways?!
