It seems like people are putting LS1s in almost everything, RX7s, Porsches, etc.

That engine looks too big for the engine bay, but I'm sure it's a good fit, now the package it's wrapped around is just ugly.

I know they're fast, but Porsches are ugly cars. They look like a VW Beetle on steroids.

Matter of opinion...

I've always been a huge fan of 911's. That is the only real Porsche for me.

On the other hand, I do like the original Beetle, too.

I'd like to see what it looks like behind the front seats... LS1 is a bit bigger than the original engine, you know. Must be pretty loud, too.

There is nothing mentioned about the tranny, but since he is only talking about 5th gear, I am assuming he is using the original. I wonder how long is that going to last?

He must've spent a whole lot of time fabricating the tranny and axles to fit together, too...

To each his own...

Thats a bit of an old 911, probably mid 70s or so, I dont like them quite as much as the newer ones, the woman has a 92 5 speed. The body stuff and wheels make it look like crap though.

I know the guy.. well i met him at the auto show last thanksgiving.. he is pretty kewl.. just wish he knew more about it..

anyways.. I will be doing something similar to my 944S... Thats my favorite porsche.. looks decent and handles better than 911's! hehe
just cant decide if i want an LT1 or an LS1 in there.. (ls1 is a little taller and may require some hood changes..)

You could just get a 928 but they are expensive to mod, sound awesome though (and they are pig heavy too).
