I'm wanting to buy one, I just wondered if it jacks up the air conditioning.

 

i just installed one yesterday...

what do you mean "jacks up" the ac? it spins the ac compressor slower so there is a chance it would put out less coold air, but i don't seem to notice any difference.

the install is a bit difficult due to some tight spaces and havinig to torque the bolt down quite a ways.

Well, thanks man! I think you answered my question, I was just wondering if it made the air conditioner not work right. I was talking to somebody the other day and they said that the air conditioner would function eratically. Did you notice a substational gain, or was it minimal?
