ASP pulley question?

I just installed a ASP underdrive pulley on my car. After driving it i feel a slight vibration at 4000 RPMs only. Not higher or lower just at about 4000 RPMs. also it seems that my OIL pressure has gone up about 3-5lbs on the gauge. now i know that the GM oil gauges or just as vague as the coolant temp gauges. Anybody else have these problems.

On install all i did was remove the old one. lube up the pulley and shaft with oil. bolted it down to bottom out(or 240 ftlbs the intructions said which ever comes first). backed it off like the directions said and torqued it down to 37 ftlbs and then went another 120 degrees. however i couldnt make it another 120 degrees after the 37ftlbs. at about 90-100 degrees i was already clicking my torque wrench which was set for 260 ftlbs so i think that 260 ft lbs is more than tight enough. ugh what should i do now? it looks installed straight and everything so i think im gonna pull it off. send it back and just ask for a new one from New Era Performance!

Re: ASP pulley question?

Keep in mind that a lot of mods that change the rotational mass of the engine/drivetrain can cause small vibrations to be felt. If it is small I wouldn't worry about it. If it's heavy then by all means send it back.

Re: ASP pulley question?

does the oil pressure seem like something i should worry about. it idles at around 45lbs and under part throttle it is already past the 60lbs mark. under WOT it almost pegs 80 lbs.
