I absolutely cannot stand these things. If anyone were to be so kind as to tell me how to get rid of these, I would really appreciate it.

There are two modules behind the radio that are mounted against the firewall. Unplug the module to the far right and DRLs go away. You can either remove the radio to access the module or you can lay on the passenger floor and reach back behind the radio to unplug this module.

Be aware that by unplugging this module, you will now need to turn on your lights manually at night and the emergency brake light will no longer illuminate. There is another option, but it requires taking the unplugged module apart and soldering some jumper wires.

Good luck.

Manny

Enjoy the added safety. You can't see them while you are driving anyways. I just wish there was an easier way to defeat the auto headlights at night. My Blazer you just push the dome light defeat 4 times in 6 seconds....

From what I understan by unplugging or pulling your pulling your brake up one you not oly disengage the DDL but your light to your brake will not light up no more or stay lit up ned it disables your airbad due to it thinks you are parked

yeah, that's the easiest way. that's what i did. the module sits behind and to the right of the stereo. after you pull the stereo, you'll see the module back there, black and about the size of a pack of cigarettes. there are two harnesses plugged into it. you want to unplug the BLUE harness. bingo, that does it... i also liked that it disabled the auto headlights. i don't like it when the car tries to think for me... also like to be able to go into stealth mode at night...
