is anyone here using the slp mass air flow sensor?
iam interested in buying the slp mass air flow sensor. just wondering how good is this mass airflow compared to the other brands? is anyone using the slp mass air flow? any comments..did u feel any performace gains..any problems like codes after a long time of driving....any replies that will help.......thanks
I'd say get other things first. Some people have had problems with MAF's leaning them out a little too much. Then again, some people have seen nice gains.I guess it's just a toss of the dice.Good luck.

I just ordered the SLP MAF for my car.
I'll post about how I think it works.... should have in installed by early next week at the latest... earlier if I get it before the Kentucky trip this weekend

I did the SLP MAF, BBK throttle body, LS-1 motorsports lid, and holley power shot filter all in one mod session. I don't know if it is a combination of the items or just one, but I now have a lean condition. If it is warmer than about 75 degrees I will get the detonation at WOT above 4000 rpm. However all these mods netted me just over .5 sec in ET and about 3mph in the 1/4.

I have the Granatelli MAF, and its (well I think it is)leaning my car out on the top end. I'm going to put the stock MAF back in and see what happens. I think with out bigger injectors, or a major power adder it isn't worth buying.
