Anyone dyno their car recently??

If yall got a minute, could yall compare your numbers to this horsepower calculator? I'm just curious how accurate it is. Thanks in advance!

It's right ON

I dynoed the numbers in the sig. and trapped 105.84MPH.
I calculated my race weight at 3449(car)+185(me)+6*4(1/4 tank)=3658.

According to that calculator my rwhp is 338. Sadly that calculator also states I should be running a 12.88 1/4 mi. I got a 13.474@105.84 w/a 2.315 60'. I need traction.

its a bit off for me..

my car on the scales after I run: 3470 + me (200lbs in clothes) = 3670lbs

mph 106.5 and et of 13.28

Trap speed calc was off by a bunch..

ET calc was closer.

The e.t. side is correct, but the mph side is why off. My car is 3520 with me in it. It ran a 12.79@114 mph. Dyno was 333 rwhp and 341 rwtq.

both were way off for me.....gave me 367 and 387 RWHP for MPH and ET respectively. my dyno numbers were 337 RWHP (SAE) and 358 RWHP (actual)....i guess if its supposed to give you actual my mph was somewhat close.

Both numbers were high for me. The MPH was WAY off target, but the ET got within 12 HP. ET calculator showed 342 and I dyno'ed 330 to the wheels at Hypertech.

The trap speed gave me 368 ... which is 38 RWHP high.

i think what all this proves is that your ET and MPH are dependent on your particular setup more than how much HP you actually make.
