Anybody Know Of A Good LS1 Mech In KY
Re: Anybody Know Of A Good LS1 Mech In KY
Yup! Go to http://www.kyhorsepower.com and talk to Alex Proctor. He has done a lot of cam installations on LS1s (including his own of course), any many many other mods. Also, you can check out S&R Racing in Lexington. They deal with a lot of LS1s.

I know quite a few guys capable of the job. All of wich are professional mechanics who do the occasional F-body wrenching on weekends on their own machines.
Although the cam and headers install are honestly cake. If you are a shade tree mechacnic it is probably within your abilities. Read a few install pages about the cam and headers. I think you may suprise yourself. I did mine bye my self but I did have airtools and a few other things available that made it easier.
