Any Recommendations?

I had and sold my 02 SLP SS, but I recently purchased a 2000 SS A4 Car.(The wife wanted me to sell the first one when we had our first kid and I convinced her to "let" me get another one.) This new car is not near the machine that the 02 car was, but that's why I'm asking for recommendations. This winter I'm doing some upgrading. The car has 107K miles and isn't in bad shape. On the car when I go it was a flowmater muffler. I already installed a SLP flow pack with smooth bellows and the K&N. I also put on a strut tower brace, adjustable rear lower control arms, and an adjustable panhard bar. I have orderd and am waiting on the winter slow down to start with: 80mm P&P Throttle body, Typhoon Intake Manifold, Hot Cam, LS6 Valve Springs, 1.8 ratio roller rockers, new lifters and I got a steal on a stock set of heads to have worked while I'm still driving the car. I'm putting a kit in the transimssion and I'm going to get a new water pump and a high flow oil pump. I've got long tubes and I'm going to go with duals and an x-pipe. I'll going to install the 35mm front and 25mm rear sway bars and weld in the subframe connectors over next weekend. Here's where I'm looking for some ideas. I don't know where to go with the bottom end of the motor. I choose the hot cam because I want more performance without too much sacrifice of the daily drivability. With that in mind, I don't want to increase the compression either. I don't know if it's worth replacing all of the bottom end components or not. I was thinking about replacing the bearings and reringing the pistons. Of course I say that before getting the motor out. I may find that I need to replace everything, but I'm hoping not to. Is that a sound idea to just "freshen" the bottom end and reuse the major components. Any feedback is welcomed. If you have questions please ask. I didn't get too far into all of the stuff I'm doing for the sake of this already lengthy post.

Well if the motor is coming out, i would definitely freshen things up in the bottom end especially since the motor has 107k miles. At the minimum i would change the bearings, or pull the rods out and inspect the pistons.
