All You M6 Guys Come On In?
B&M Ripper Shifter and the Pro 5.0 are the common ones. Which ever one you want to get will work great. If you have a couple extra bucks get the 5.0. You can't go wrong with either. I have the B&M and it's great
I have the B&M ripper on my Lt1 and its a hoss....I like it.....
I also have the Hurst on my LS1 and I like it too...its smoother but does not give you the positive feel of the ripper..........its a toss up

If you have factory Hurst, get Lou's short stick...it gets rid of the rubber gromet in the shifter so you get a stiffer more concise feel to your shifts. If you have the factory slouch I reccomend B&M.

I've just got the factory Hurst and the short stick from www.SpectacleSolutions.net and am very pleased with it.
I have the pro-5. I love it ...never miss 3rd gear anymore....Makes some more noise. I know the instructions say to cut the boot to slip over the shifter. I didnt cut mine and it fits like a glove.....

I just installed my Pro-5.0 shifter today, and have to say its awesome. Very positive/shorter shifts, almost non-existant transmission noise, and great craftsmanship. I cut an inch off the top, and now have a perfect shifter.
I like my Pro 5.0 too. I also whacked 1" off of mine. Combined with the ES tranny mount, it makes a bit of noise. I just noticed that last night when I was on a date with a guy who drives an '02 SS. What a difference 80k miles makes!
