All you guys with loud cars inside...

I got a quick question. When you guys accelerate, does your exhaust note resonate and vibrate the interior at all?

I just got a cutout installed, and when I hit about 2300 RPM, the seats vibrate and the change in my ash try rattles and clinks. It's kind of humorous, but a little irritating.

I was wondering if I was just being a baby, hehe.

yup mine did the same thing and thats 22-2300 is my cruising speed so i have to cap it , but i put 2 or 3 washers on each stud so its still open part way and its still loud. its alot cleaner sound and no resonating in the car now.

So you have air going through both the cutout and the muffler then right? That sounds like a really good idea. Right now Ive got the thing totally open and I cant ever hear the stereo hardly.

If you want a quiet car, go buy a Lexus.

I put my cut-out right before the pipe curves up and over the rear axle.

Does anyone know if this will cause anything to vibrate loose?

Lol, my mom borrowed my car once to go to work. She was gonna go to lunch with her boss (a 58 year old woman) afterward and they were gonna take my car. So they were walking over to it to get in and go to lunch. Her boss complimented the car and said that I have a really nice looking car. So they sat in the car and my mom started it and her boss jumped in her seat and said that she refuseed to ride in it and that she would follow my mom in her own car.
