Airbox Part Number

I ran a search and couldn't find the answer, hopefully someone out there knows ...

I'm looking for the part number on the lower airbox assembly for a 98 Z28 ...

I have performed the free ram air mod and the amount of dirt that builds up on the filter is beginning to bother me, so I want to close that hole up and I do realize the hole in the radiator support will still be there. Anyone have the part #? Anyone know about how much the part costs straight from GM?

Thanks,

Sean

Sorry, I do not have the p/n handy. However it is probably close to the WS6 lower air box price, over $100. Suggest you leave the air box as is and repair/replace you radiator deflector panel. If you do not, that same dirt will find its way into your air box and the rest of your engine compartment anyway. There are two huge ducts behind your factory grill that love that extra opening you made in your lower air box. You can only see them from the space between your front bumper cover and your washer bottle. They are on each side of the hood latch gimmick. They channel air pretty good at speed. You can probably pick up the panel at a salvage yard, but I am sure it is available at a local dealer.

Good Luck,

PJ
