air pump removal question

Ony my 02 Z i removed the air pump cause im in the process of installing race headers, the tri fitting deal on the back driver side of the intake manifold, it has a vacuum hose on the top of it going into some electrical/vacuum component that has another vacuum hose goin to the back of the manifold somewhere, can i just plug the port that goes to the fitting where all the air pump hoses go and it will be fine?

Not sure exactly what your talking about, but think you can plug it with a screw. If it's the "T" you can pull the line from the back of the intake, remove the "T" and then just connect the line for the HVAC back up. If your vents just blow air at your feet and defrost something's wrong.

oh so the vent doors are still vacuum operated? i thought they would of done away with that on newer model cars. can you explain a little more about what to do with the vacuum hoses cause i barely looked at those vacuum hoses back there and am kinda clueless about it .
