Y-pipe, Does 2000+ fit 1999
Y-pipe, Does 2000+ fit 1999
Have a lead on a Y-pipe off of a 02 WS6, will it bolt up to my stock 99 Z-28?
The Y-pipe is an SLP for stock headers, exhaust
I know they changed headers in 2000 or so, but are the y pipes the same

Re: Y-pipe, Does 2000+ fit 1999
Exactly how?
If it's the rear length, who cares? A little welding, all is well. On the other hand, if flanges up front are wildly different, might be more trouble than it's worth.
Anyone who knows EXACTLY how they are different, please post. I just scored a 02 SLP y-pipe and have a 98 SS 'vert. I can mod a bit to make it work, but don't want to get crazy.

Cool, thanks! It so happens I can probably score a later pass side cat no problem... other guys are frequently doing long tubes. Yup, I will too, later. For now, cheap to free is sweet...
