Air Injection?
If I understand what you're asking, AIR injection is an emissions related system attached to the car from the factory. It injects unburnt air into the exhaust system before the cats while the car is still warming up. The fresh air reacts with the unburnt fuel (richer mixutre on startup) to help bring the cats up to operating temperatures faster. At least, that's my understanding of the system. Most people remove this for the weight savings when modding their car - especially if they go to an ORYP design.
no its called air injection theres a hose on the drivers side of the radiator that doesnt go anywhere but i lookeat at another TA and his was connected to the back of a dumbell shaped plastic thing behnd the air box.
no the air pump is there. this thing is next to the headlight of the driver's side it looks like a radiator hose. its non functunal because its not leaking but it really gots me thinking and worrying a bit. ill try to get a pic.
