Ahh help with wheel hop

Ok guys I needs your help. Just the other day I got 18s all around (got a really good deal that I couldn't pass up) with 274/35 tires. Now I floored it on dry ground I have wheel hop. I need to fix this. What can I do? I'm starting to think that the tire place I took the wheels to put too much air in the tires. I don't know if this could effect it. I am going to check that right now. Also it seems to happen on the passenger side, if that makes a difference.

LCA's, Panhard rod, and Torque Arm.. or a Torque Arm bushing (Like Energy Suspension), and 1 Air Lift Air bag in your right rear spring set to 21psi.. that should cure your wheel hop.

It did mine on my other car.

damn I didn't know switching to 18s would cause wheel hop. I just went from 275/40 to 275/35.

wheelhop is common on these cars your old setup probably did it just not as noticeably. a good way to fix it is some nice lca's and if your car is lowered or will be lowered some lca relocation brackets.

Just stick your head under the rear of the car. If your LCAs arent parallel to the ground get a set of relocation brackets. BMRs bolton works fine. If your on a budget use the stock arms. No real need for all the other crap Oh and get a BFH for the wheel rubs you will need it

Thanks guys for the help. So it looks like if I were to do it in order I'd get lca's first and then a torque arm.

makes no sense to not get the whole deal and have a decent setup and get some benefit from the car... Handling and acceleration. That is what your intent is isnt it?

I'm just saying since I don't have all the money to buy it all at once I want to get the piece that will most benefit me the most first.

Best thing first is a new set of LCA's. Might as well do reloc. brackets at the same time (they're only $45).

Good luck and keep us posted.
