aftermarket cats

hey all. i just got the carsound cats for my 2000 ss and every exhaust shop says they can't put them on because the 1st O2 sensor is too close to the start of the factory cats. is this BS or are they right? i priced factory cats...i hope you are sitting down for this...400 for the driver side and 415 for the passenger side, GM calls them high flow so the $$ is high. i alomost sh@t a brick!
thanks all

GM is insane, I am sure they are really high flowing

Anyway, what are you doing, putting them on the stock system?
I don't think your really benefitting from that. You should look at a set of long tube headers and have them then welded into the Y
