?? about friends 98 TA

ok my girl friends 98 TA recently wouldnt start.. It had FULL power to everthing put wouldnt crank at all! i reset the computer thinking that might be the problem because there was no power to the gauges and it wasnt starting... that did crap.. so then i checked the fuses.. only that was blown the the gauge fuse. went replaced the fuse.. then it started ..... then we turned the car off and then trired starting it again..just like b4 nothing... checked the same fuse and it was blown again.... changed the fuse...this time it hasnt blown and this was last night.... could there be a short in the gauges or somewhere else??? has this ever happend to someone else? thanks for any help ......

noone has any thoughts? I seem to think that since she doesnt take care of the car like its suposed to be (86 octane!!!!) the car is punishing her *** by breaking down.... she doesnt listen....typical huh? cars got 58000 miles on it and valve covers are leaking, brake master cylinder is leaking, oil hasnt been changed in forever.... I feel bad for the car Id hate her too haha..... i think its a short in the gauges but isnt that rare with only 58000 miles on the car? oh not to mention the 2 15s in the trunk .... dont even ask

I would just take it to a dealer, you know, if it cost you $200, what's the big deal? Doesn't change the oil, that's a shame, don't you tell her that she has a car that will never be manufactured again and it has an engine that is one of best around and she should respect it and take care of it? Also tell her the car will run much, much better if you take care of it, it will be faster, smoother and reliable.

man I know ive told her and told her... She dont care her mommy and daddy paid for it and they are gonna maybe buy her an 02 WS-6 if they can find one. but shes car stupid. i just want the damn car... me and her used to date... I washed, waxed, changed the oil, everything to it and i even put the 92 octane in it. she dont listen to me then complains at how bigga piece of crap it is.. first time i found out she put 86 octane in it i threw a fit. First time i drove it, it was the worst expierence of my life. It hesitated really bad, oil hadnt been changed in a while, bogged at idle. if/when she sells it i wouldnt give her 8 grand for it cause she drove it hahaha. its a shame to see one of these go to waste. I had a 96 fomula and i totaled it hit a telephone pole and i babied that..... she pisses me off
