Lost 3rd on my tranny with a tranny cooler and SY3500, oh and the 422 had something to do with it too.

Odd I have owned 7 A4 f-bodies and 1 M6 92-01 never had a problem with my A4's w/ track time and 65k on them (my 01 has 18k on it 7 passes at the track)

When we picked it up with our 20 ton wrecker and opened the hood, it was saturated with tranny fluid

Well I am furious !!!! I bought my new Camaro Z28 back in June and about three weeks ago Igot my car out of the shop from having the tranny redone. It went out at 10k. Here is what the trans dept. said what the problem was and what they did to fix it.........Leaking 3rd piston seal assym loss of pressure to 3rd clutch pack slipped burnt clutches also forward piston seal folded over not installed properly slipped forward clutches 2/4 band burnt seals hard and clutches flaking material off. 4l60e trans z28.Replaced 3rd clutches,relaced 3rd piston and forward piston,all clutches,2/4 band assym,recondition trans completly 4L60E ,replaced pressure control solinoid assym. flush and flow test cooler. K7252 9.3 hrs labor........I have had the car back for about three weeks now and so far no problems.
