Hey everyone, I just bought a 99' SS Camaro and I am really lost on what performance parts to get for this car. Nearest I can tell, it has a short throw shifter, loudmouth exhaust, and a fully adjustable suspension that is lowered 2 inches. I was thinking about getting some MSD ignition parts, but wanted to know if they were worth it and what parts provide the best performance? I'm also fixing to purchase the SLP cold air kit. Does anyone have any ideas of any other parts to get.

I don't want to go to crazy with it, I want it to stay streetable and reliable just with a little more power.

Throw away your current parts list and start over.
First tune it up with new plugs, plug wires, all new filters, and a Seafoam treatment.
If it doesn't have an aftermarket air intake lid, get one.
Get a Super Sucker Ram Air kit.
Then longtube headers, an LS6 intake, and a tune.

It should be a strong running 12 second car at that point.
