You had it on an engine dyno??? If you didn't then you don't know that. You guess that. You think that. You might have. You even think that you should have. But you don't know unless it's been on an engine dyno.

How much crank Hp do I have then?? I run the same MPH as you thru a loose converter. Maybe 500 yeah that sounds cool.

Im sure enough to say it does. Nothing you say will have an effect on my thoughts about my cars HP. At its full weight it traps 119 all day. Driving is believing.

Besides, If I pulled the same sixty as you Id have trapped 124+ and ran 10's. I barely got better then a 1.8. There are variables.

If you do the math for the cars weight/trap speeds it has 470+ and Like I said it dont idle bad. And as soon as I get the money I will Take it to the dyno. I have friends that dont run as fast or trap as high and have dynoed 410+ to the wheels with simliar weight. Im thinking its a pretty close guess.

As far as your car goes Your probably pushing about 500 to the crank.

Re: 98 Ls1???

Actually using the HP calculator it shows my car having 567 HP with my trap speeds " I know, thats rediculous" So around 470 is conservative.

Again my point is that you're just guessing. You state things as fact that you are guessing at. Whatever
And as far as the 10s and 124 just by improving your 60' a few tenths. Not going to happen. If you knocked 3 tenths off your 60' and got 2 for 1 then you be at 11.2 and you damn sure won't get 5 more MPH. I know these things for a fact. As I've been racing my car since it was new.

Wrong.

When you hook up hard, you lose MPH compared to spinning or slightly spinning launches. Also, the softer/lower air pressure tires tend to eat MPH as well.

I understand that.ANd I exagerated the MPH gain "oh well" to make a point. But a .4 Difference in 60's are probably going to gain a slight trap becasue you are getting to higher speeds quicker. Im not saying that going from a .2 tenth will make a difference but .4+ can make some depending on the Variables.

I have a friend weith an 01 Automatic Formy.

stock he trapped 104 with a 2.2 60.
Trapped 105 with a 2.0 60
He stalled the car and then trapped 107 with a 1.6 60.
Those are factual numbers.

I exagerated a bit Do you get the point?

I dont care that you have been racing your car since it was new.

As far as me guessing, who cares? Your right,my 3560 pound car ran a 11.8@119 with a 1.78 sixty but it only has 400 HP. Oh,please forgive me ol mighty one!
Your making a big deal out of nothing.

When I dyno the car,and I will, Ill post the numbers to prove it. Until then skeptics will be heckling everything I say. Although there are guys in cam only cars dynoing 450RWHP but your questioning my car having 475 to the crank? The proof is in the pudding and numbers dont lie.

You just don't get it? I'm not questioning your HP. Personally I don't give a rats behind how much power you think your car has.
My problem as a moderator of this forum is people stating that they have XXX amount of power at the crank when they are only guessing. You don't say I "should" have "about" XXX hp. You state I "do" have XXX hp. Well until you pull the engine and put it on a dyno then you have no numbers and the pudding is spoiled.

My car has been on a dyno and I know what it makes at the wheels but I still can only guess at the crank hp because drivetrain loss is only a guess.
