92mm fast intake?
#2
Not really.. The 90mm flows more than the LS6 and it can be a 10hp gain over the stocker-ish LS6 intake. The 92 is just an updated design with a slightly larger mouth.. I'm thinking of getting one myself soon... What heads will you be running?
If you want the MOST performance, on the intake side, go for the 92mm FAST then.. Otherwise, the LS6 intake will work.. that's what I'm running and I have a similar cam.

That's what I've got in my car...my cam is considered mild I believe, but this modification business is a bit of an addiction. It won't take too long for you to want something bigger, so if you can afford it I'd say go with the 92mm...may not be the best bang for the buck right now, but you won't have to worry about ordering it later

not sure what the specs are on the cam.
but my cam only engine (233/233) with stock heads gained 18hp and 12ftlbs of torque with a home ported FAST 90/90.
that was over the ls6/ported TB.....same day, same dyno, tuned before and after.
yeah its worth it.
