I still suggest as well as keep the 67 and get a newer car, because if he sold his beater, and can afford car payments, then he can still probably get the 99 SS he wants!! As for fixing up the older camaro, all it takes is just get a Mig Welder, Grinder, Some Body Hammers, Dollies and Spoons, then get at least a fender (that is damaged) and practice... I do know, if you see rust in a particular place chances are you have more rust for example on my 68 C10 Cab corners, Inner and Outer Rocker Panels, both Kick panels, part of the floor board, Roof, Drip Rail and a little on the firewall (which is just at the early stage so far) and I have not taken the fenders off to see how the Pillar Posts are!! I do know that there is more rust but at least I have another cab to my disposal for making some patch panels !!

With what I have to do w/ my 68 C10, I still have to pay payments on my Z... Buying my 02 Z28 was the best decision I have made and sure it keeps me from really dumping money in to my 68 but at least I don't have to rush the body work just to go to work...

If you sell the 67 now, in 5 years you'll be sorry. I sold a 66 Chevy II L-79, at the time it seem like the smart thing to do. Now I consider it one of the dumbest things that I ever did. Man, I wish I had that car back.

Right now I have a 68 Camaro SS and a 02 Camaro SS. I love the 02, it's a ball to drive and is a great car, but it would go long before the 68.
