Ok guys I have a 2000 Silverado Z71 that has a 5.3 that is worthless. It has 275k miles on it. So I want to swap a 6.0 in to it. I understand that I can use my existing PCM is this true? how about my wireing harness? and would it bolt right in and to my tranny?

AFAIK you can bolt it in and have the PCM flashed with a 6.0l tune. External physical dimensions are the same.

 

all sensors will plug right in? I was told i will have to get some adaptors from spear tech.

 

I would think that would depend more on if they are the same year or not.
