Re: 4L60E Tranny
I went through a case like this several years ago on another site. We investigated every possibility, and 175 posts later turned out it was worn internals:

Was a 4L60E with an LT1, but the logic should be similar.

Re: 4L60E Tranny
Could be something other than worn parts.
Unfortunately there is virtually no one here to help any more. Maybe a 1/2-dozen LT1 owners. The LS1 crowd never came here in numbers, they weren’t happy with the Lounge moderation. The site was never updated to seriously cover the 5th Gen, etc. I can help with most of the LT1 issues, but I just don’t know the auto transmission that well. I have a decent understanding of how the PCM controls it, but not the trans internals.
Appears last time you posted was 2011. A lot has changed since then, all for the worse.
I don't have my Formula, sold it earlier this year. Rob/Shoebox sold his Z28 a while back.

Re: 4L60E Tranny
Have the transmission fluid flushed out and replaced. But that may not help at all. The problem is worn valves in the transmission get more pressure in acceleration and can jam. Letting up causes the valve to move. Rebuild or replacement is in order. Other than that, maybe a faulty connector that moves during acceleration or deceleration but that should cause a code and is unlikely.
