440hp Carbureted ''LS-2'' Engine ???

Carbed "LS-2"
So what do you think about this engine? What performance or gas mileage advantages would it have over a traditional small block chevy w/ simlilar power?

seems like some frankenstein creation. and since when did the ls2 only have 364 ci? my understanding is that its a 402ci.

Ummmm....

LS2 -- 6.0L or 364 cubic inches
LS7 -- 7.0L or 427 cubic inches

Google any conversion page (c.i. > liters) and you'll see.

Take your cubic inches and multiply it by .0163 to get your liters and then your liters divided by .0163 to get your cubic inches. Probably telling most of you all something you already know but for someone wanting to know... there is the conversion.

MPG will be lower.. much lower than with a well tuned FI car..

You will always make more power with FI as well.. its just a little more expensive sometimes..

It'd be great for a retro project but the fuel mileage and driveability wouldn't be near as good as an EFI version of the same.

Ok, you've made two posts in one thread with bogus info. Stop posting for today .

A properly tuned carb vs. a properly tune EFI motor will make very closer power.

Fair enough .

There isn't any point in arguing on a site like this. I lose, you win .
